Celebrating the efforts, commitment, and authentic conscientiousness to achieve and improve was a big theme of the sports assembly last week. I congratulate the champions, the leaders, the winners, and the losers, you are all as valuable as each other. Sport represents every aspect of the human condition, the effort, the great heights, but also the pain of competing, striving and sadness. All I can say, when It comes to sport, I encourage students to refuse to be on the sideline, rather be part of the team on the field. The sports Assembly acknowledged the most elite achievements, which there were many and those athletes are truly incredible, full of effort hard work and dedication. We also acknowledged those who always do their best, turning up every day at school sport, helping others and being the most valuable player, not because of their personal success, rather how they help the whole team. I congratulate the girls who competed at CHS sport, our UHS Girls were acknowledge for the best performing girls across the entire event. Outstanding. I also congratulate those who are just great all-round champion people because they always give 110% on the field and off. You are the champions. #sportForAll #Girls
