Shoalhaven Food Network Training Day

After attending the Shoalhaven Food Network Introduction Day in week 10 last term, 18 students progressed through to the second round. The training day was held at the Altar Bar in week 11. UHS students were trained in how to work within the Hospitality Industry by learning skills such as table setting, delivering meals and drinks, clearing tables and general table service etiquette.

All students excelled and represented our school with a high level of engagement, responsibility and professionalism. These students will now embark on putting their skills into practice by participating in work experience at several Shoalhaven Food Network events (Check out Shoalhaven Food Network on Facebook) over the next few months. The Industry Launch of the Autumn Celebration of Food 2025 took place on 29 April at The Growers By Ponte (Previously The Growers Shoalhaven).
