Getting to and from school safely
As a parent or carer, it’s your responsibility to get your child to and from school safely. Student safety is our priority.
Keep our school community safe by:
- driving and parking safely, even if it means parking further away and walking the rest of the way to school
- being a good role model
- never calling your child from across the road
- using the safest place to cross the road.
For independent travellers
Talk safe travel with your high-school-aged child including:
Subsidised school travel
Transport for NSW provides subsidies to assist school students.
- The School Student Transport Scheme provides eligible students with free or subsidised travel on public transport between home and school.
- The School Drive Subsidy may help towards the costs of driving children to school if you live in an area where there is no public transport.
2021 School Travel Applications now open (online)
Students applying for a bus pass for 2021 should apply at:

Students changing schools or addresses can update their details at https://apps.transport.nsw.gov.aiu/ssts/updateDetails
Any change of address or family details must be updated at the school Ph4455 1799 as we endorse each bus application for Transport NSW. This will ensure receiving a 2021 bus pass with the correct details. Applications need to be submitted before 31 December 2020. Note: Applications must be completed by students themselves if they are 16 years and over.
Senior Secondary Student Concession Cards (16 yrs and over) and Proof of Age cards have been replaced with the Transport Concession Entitlement Cards (TCEC) since October 2020.
