Early Career Teachers

Teachers at UHS are very supportive of their colleagues.  Those in the early years of their career are supported through regular meetings, looking at developing positive learning environments and quality teaching practices.  In class, support and mentoring is also an important component of teacher development.  New Scheme Teachers are required to document their professional development over a 3 year period.  Support and assistance is given in the preparation of this portfolio.
