Mathematics Standard 2 is a Board Developed course and is 2 units for each of Preliminary (Year 11) and HSC (Year 12).
The Mathematics Standard Year 11 course is a common course for all students studying the Mathematics Standard syllabus. In Year 12 students can elect to study either the Mathematics Standard 1 Year 12 course or the Mathematics Standard 2 Year 12 course. All students studying the Mathematics Standard 2 course will sit for an HSC examination. All students studying the Mathematics Standard course in Stage 6 will have the opportunity to enhance their numeracy skills and capabilities.
