Attendance Week Matters Fostering Healthy Attendance Habits

Fostering Healthy Attendance Habits

Establishing positive habits is crucial for young people, and unfortunately, staying home can become one of those habits. If you notice your child struggling with sleep at night, having difficulty waking up in the morning, or displaying signs of anxiety, tears, or anger before school, it might indicate deeper issues.

Frequent tummy aches or headaches could also be a sign that your child needs support. At school, we are committed to helping your child thrive. A proactive first step is to schedule an appointment with your GP to explore any underlying concerns. Additionally, consider implementing a digital device curfew in the evening and maintaining a consistent bedtime and wake-up routine. Remember, both adults and children require 8 to 10 hours of sleep for optimal health and well-being. For further assistance, please reach out to UHS and ask to speak with Mr Ramsden. Together, we can ensure that every minute counts towards your child's success. Every day matters!
