Cricket Star

Elyza Wall in Year 9 was selected to play for the Philippines National Cricket team at the recent Kartini Cup (Bali Bash) held in Bali over the Easter break. The format included T20 and T10 competitions and was played against national teams from Indonesia, Cook Islands and a touring Australia/India team. This tournament was sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and contributes towards world rankings that lead to future World Cup qualifying. The next 2 tournaments will be the East Asia Pacific World Cup Qualifier in Suva, Fiji in September, followed by the South East Asian games in Bangkok, Thailand in December. Awesome work Elyza!
