It is important for students to find what interests them and the only way to know is to try something new and be open to different ways of learning. Two groups of Year 10 students worked alongside Tradesman, under the guidance of welding trainer Bill Hopkins to build their skills in designing and welding along with other vital skills around work place learning, communication and team work. The group designed and built a steel sculpture which will be installed at the Dunn Lewis Centre. Love locks can be purchased to attach to the sculpture as a fundraiser for the Dunn Lewis Foundation. Congratulations to both Year 10 groups who represented our school well. You are stepping up to learning.
