Ulladulla High School Ration Challenge

From June 30 to July 2, Ulladulla High School students took part in the Ration Challenge—an initiative that gives participants a small glimpse into the daily realities faced by refugees and people living in poverty.

Claire

Led by a passionate Year 8 SRC member Clarrie O'Loughlin, the challenge has inspired one teacher and seven students—most of whom are in Year 11—to step up in support. It’s a proud moment for our school community, as our senior students rally behind a younger peer’s idea, showing unity, leadership, and compassion. At UHS, our SRC and wider student body are deeply committed to social justice. Living on the beautiful South Coast, our students are mindful of their privilege and are driven to make a difference. By completing the Ration Challenge, they are not only standing in solidarity with those facing hardship but are also raising vital funds and awareness to support real change.

Well done to all involved—we're proud of your commitment to making a difference!
