UHS Canteen recognised for their Healthy food choices

At the start of this new year our school canteen has been recognised as a canteen that meets the requirements to be named:  A Healthy School Canteen.

With changes in menu, food-preparation and ordering (Flexischools) 2019 was a year full of challenges, hard work and good results. We want to congratulate the staff and volunteers of the canteen on this milestone which they have achieved.
The canteen has been open and operating during this whole process of change, never to let students and staff down in their service and this is commendable.

The canteen is like the social place to be during recess and lunchtime and a great way to meet new people, interact with students and help in the school community.
There is always a need for a helping hand and a friendly face so you would be very welcome as a volunteer.
