. This year we had 18 students in the team, all helping with training and caring for the steers as well as developing good parading skills. We had some very stiff competition with the steers this year and our students entered the Beginner and Intermediate parading competition using the three steers shared around all of the student paraders. Congratulations to all team members who dedicated their time and effort over the last few days as well as throughout the term in the holidays and weekends. This year we achieved a Bronze award for the Steers Report that the students put together to display the process of growing and training the steers. Well Done to all members of the UHS School Steers Team.
