Last week, our unstoppable U15 girls soccer team took to the field for the Bill Turner Cup round-robin—and what a day it was! From the first whistle to the final kick, the girls gave it absolutely everything. Legs pumping, hearts racing, and eyes locked on the goal, they were a force to be reckoned with. No subs? No problem. These champions dug deep and just kept on running. A special shoutout goes to our fearless volunteer goalkeepers. Despite playing out of position, they pulled off some incredible saves -six of them during two nerve-wracking penalty shootouts! While the girls held their nerve under pressure, the same can’t be said for the coach and spectators. As the shootouts began, the entire oval fell silent—every eye fixed on the action. But the girls kept their cool. With 6 goals slammed into the net and 4 epic saves, our team clinched the finals and took out the top spot. Three matches, three wins, and one very proud school community. Well done, girls - you’ve done UHS proud!
