UHS Shines at Regional Swimming Carnival

Swimmers

Despite persistent rain and less-than-ideal conditions, 34 dedicated Ulladulla High School students travelled to Dapto Olympic Pool with their families and friends to compete in the South Coast Regional Swimming Championships. Their resilience and outstanding performances made for an inspiring day of competition. It was fantastic to see five of our Year 12 students—Elsie Foster, Jacob Jones, Jordan Magi, Rome Foots, and Lilly Collis—hit the pool one last time at this level, setting a great example for our younger swimmers.

A special mention goes to Year 7 student Sarah Channing, who made the long trip to ensure the 15-years girls' relay team could still compete—true team spirit in action! A heartfelt thank you to the Ulladulla Swim Club and Isobel Howell’s family for generously sharing their shelters, giving our swimmers a much-needed break from the rain. Congratulations to all individual competitors and relay teams for their fantastic efforts, with many progressing through to State CHS Swimming in April. Finally, a massive thank you to Mr. Duncan for his dedication and organisation leading up to the carnival. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and our swimmers have done Ulladulla High School proud! Best of luck to the following students who have progressed to State— Freya Bryant, Bodhi Charlton, Charlotte Davies. Eloise Davies, Harry Davies, Suvi Flore-Quirk, Luke Forrester, Elsie Foster, Lochie Helms, Remy Helms, Christian Ireland, Finn Ireland, Isobel Ireland, Jacob Jones, Brooklyn Keith, Sophia Klau, Kayden Lee, Anna Markovits, Fergus Meindl, Byron Ritchie, Thomas Tudor-Jones, Eddie Wilson, Pearl Wilson.
