Ulladulla High School is buzzing with energy as we warmly welcome our newest members. The Class of 2030 has made an impressive start to their high school journey and is quickly becoming an integral part of our school community.
The transition to high school has gone smoothly, with students settling into their homerooms and forming new friendships across different primary schools. It’s wonderful to see them bonding over shared interests and experiences.
Year 7 students have embraced their new learning environment with enthusiasm, diving into subjects like science, sport, design and technology, music, art, mathematics, and social sciences. Their curiosity and energy are evident in every class. The UHS uniform has been worn with pride, and the school canteen has been a hit, offering a variety of healthy and delicious options during breaks.
We have two exciting events coming up for Year 7. The Year 7 Parent Welcome Afternoon Tea will be held on Monday, February 24th, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, providing an opportunity for parents to meet their children's teachers and connect with other Year 7 families in a relaxed setting. The Year 7 camp is also just around the corner in Week 10, offering a great opportunity for students to build stronger bonds with their peers and teachers while developing independence and resilience through outdoor activities. We are so impressed with how quickly our Year 7 students have adapted to high school life and look forward to supporting them through a year full of growth and discovery. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude have already made them a wonderful addition to our school community!
