Students from Milumba braved the cold winds last week, visiting Tree Tops Adventure Nowra and also Shoalhaven Zoo. Excitement levels were high as many students took on the ropes course, wearing helmets and gloves and buckling into safety gear, the students bravely took on various courses around the park, climbing, scaling rock faces, whizzing along zip lines and jumping from heights. Students stepped out of their comfort zones to work their way through the difficult courses. Some students and staff chose to explore the neighbouring Shoalhaven Zoo. They enjoyed walking through the park and checking out all of the different animals and their habitats. The Zoo tour was interactive, students were able to pat many types of animals including koalas, snakes and other reptiles. A big thankyou to Milumba staff for accompanying and supporting students to enjoy the day.
