There were some long days and very early mornings. There was also a variety of challenging course conditions, ranging from ice to slush, as well as enough wind, snow and rain to stop lifts! It was amazing to see so many first timers competing and enjoying the experience. Thankyou to all the parents and carers who helped by volunteering on course as well as transporting, feeding, accommodating and equipping these snow athletes so they could represent Ulladulla. We have 17 students who have been invited to the State level competition on the 19th-23 August. We achieved some great team results, particularly for our senior students, including:
Bronze for the Div 1 Boys team (Cooper and Hayden Minassian and Noah Wackett) in both Snowboard Cross and Snowboard GS; Bronze for the Div 1 Girls team (Matilda Boland and Summer Boonaerts) in Snowboard Cross; 4th place for the Div 1 Girls and Div 2 Girls in Snowboard GS; 5th place for the Div 1 Boys B team in both Snowboard GS and Snowboard Cross; 5th place for the Div 2 Girls team in Snowboard Cross.
