Community Showcase comes alive with Careers Expo for our Students

If you were in the MPC and the Movement Studio last week, you were part of a huge collaboration with so many businesses across the community and beyond. We had the Defence Forces with their Jet Simulators, National Parks, Cupitts Estate, Master Builders, SES, Fire Brigade, NSW Health, NDIS, Country Universities, and the list goes on.

It is the defining moments for all our students when they get to see and talk to people from the careers and jobs that interest them. There are the 3 As (Awareness, Aspiration and Attainment) of students getting to understand what opportunities they can experience for their future life. UHS wants each and every student to know that they have limitless pathways beyond school and that our Careers Team is wholeheartedly here to assist. It has been over the last 6 months our careers team, along with Karen Lissa coordinator of the Showcase in collaboration with Community Connect, Regional Industry Partnerships and Pathways, Universities, Employers, Local Businesses and many others have been organising our Annual Community Careers Expo, which was a huge success. We look forward to 2025 Expo! #UHSCareers, #Community  #Future
