Their exceptional performances played a significant role in the boys' overall success, finishing in third place. The girls team had a winner takes all match against St Johns. They started strong with the first 2 goals being scored early in the first quarter. St John's started fighting back towards the second half of the match. A tied score took it to overtime where Ulladulla were strong in their tackles and overall possession. Tazmia kicked the winning goal to take Ulladulla into the lead and for overall victory! Special mentions to Zara, Finn and Dakota for being key team leaders. An overall excellent team effort from all the girls, some who had never played AFL before! The girls play in the next and final round of the South Coast knockout to decide who will have the opportunity to go to State in Ulladulla on Tuesday 28th May, which will include teams from the far south coast & Illawarra.
