From little things, big things grow ‘Hey Wire’ win inspires others

You might recall at the beginning of the term UHS congratulated Adam Clear, for his win of “ABC Hey Wire”, something that has not happened at UHS in a very long time. Over the coming weeks Adam will be attending our year meetings and reporting to year groups on his brilliant week in Canberra, (which was part of the opportunity provided by his Hey Wire win), and how he had the opportunity representing rural kids at Parliament House.

It is Adam’s passion to help others and speak up about how we all have a responsibility to treat all people with respect, despite their differences. He is now able to apply for a funding grant with the ABC so as a community we can continue offering events for young people in the community. Adam telling his story will have a ripple effect for others and may inspire other students to take on similar projects. Adam wants to make sure he is making a difference for others not just himself. #courage #Respect #StoryTelling
