Ag Plot Blackbird

Spring at the farm has seen a mother blackbird make her nest in the shadehouse. We have left her there even though blackbirds are an introduced species and she has 3 healthy chicks that will be flying the coop in the next few weeks.

Also, our friendly goats Ava and Meg will be heading back to the Jones's farm on Thursday. They have enjoyed a couple of terms with us and have become very friendly and much loved by all the students. We will be sad to see them go as they are such characters and have enjoyed being taken on walks around the school and getting to know all the students. We will be welcoming some piglets to the school farm this week courtesy of the Sullivans and will send photos through to you when they have arrived and settled in.
