The Voice for a Generation.

The Voice for a Generation

From little things big things grow, would be an understatement when it comes to students and their passion for realigning the course of history. If you really think about it, our students will be the adults that will need to lead our nation in the right direction, the true north. Over the past few months, a small, dedicated group of students have worked alongside community members to advocate for the opportunity to get the discussion going about our future from a First Nations Youth perspective. The aim is to dig deep into the important issues that will impact now and into the future, particularly housing, education, and racism. In collaboration with Grace McBride, Lucey Passwell, along with Deputy Principal Ms Waser our first nation girls and the SRC, have orchestrated an incredible line-up of panel experts, from our school, community, state and federal politics. This platform provides an opportunity to grow youth advocacy, confidence and wisdom on the issues deep to their hearts, and asking what can we do about it? First stop, understanding the trueness and vitality of the Voice to Parliament and what it will mean for our First Nations Youth. I am chuffed by this initiative, and super proud of the passion of our students to make a difference. #prettyExcited #ProudPrincipal #TheVoice 29th June 7pm Tickets:
