iSTEM students building the robot

Our Year 10 iSTEM class has recently been working on their final iSTEM assessment in the lead-up to Year 11. Using engineering skills they have learnt over the past two years, they have been building and coding a robot to compete in the 2023-2024 First Tech Challenge (FTC) competition.

The robot is required to score points by placing pixels on a board and flinging paper aeroplanes across the arena. The class will be going up to Wollongong TAFE to compete against many other teams in the regional competition in November. We wish them much luck representing our school at the comp!
