The challenge involved building and coding a robot to compete challenges in 2:30 minute matches and completing an innovation project on the year’s topic and a 30 minute interview. There was only 8 weeks from release of the season to competing. All the girls had a great day, culminating with coming equal first on the robot game and taking out first place for robot design from the judging session. Counting the other two judging categories they finished the day in overall second place. This meant they would progress through to the National competition, at Macquarie Uni, on the 2nd of December.
