Last Monday 16 May the Year 12 Agriculture and Geography students ventured out to Narrawilly Dairy to investigate the farm and learn about the production and marketing of dairy. Robert Miller answered many questions and described the daily processes that occur on a Dairy farm and explained some of the problems experienced by farmers over the last few years.
The students had the opportunity to see the dairy in action during the afternoon milking session and were able to assist with some of the tasks on the dairy. Visiting the calf shed and exploring the dairy were the highlights of the day. Thanks again to Robert Miller for his continued support of this program.
