After suffering huge losses during the drought and then major impacts from the fires in 2019, Mr Miller is having a long awaited bumper season. The rainfall has allowed him to produce massive amounts of pasture and the cows are producing huge quantities of milk!! The Year 12 Agriculture students braved the rain and mud to visit the farm and tour the dairy, visit and interact with the calves and see first hand the massive quantity of hay and silage that has been produced.
It was an interesting and informative tour and we managed to see the dairy in action with the afternoon milking taking place just before we left.
Thank you, once again to Robert Miller for his time and effort!
