Mr Woodland and 7 Orange worked in teams to create dichotomous keys for assorted lollies. We learn that a dichotomous key is a tool that allows the user to determine the identity of items in the world such as trees, wild flowers, mammals, reptiles, rocks and fish. There are two types of dichotomous keys. They differ in the method by which the couplets are organised and how the user is directed to successive choices. Thank you Mr Woodland this experiment was so much fun and very informative.
