“Australians let us all rejoice, for we are young and free” were the words that
Dr Brendan Nelson reiterated in a moving speech on September 11, 2018 as part of the Last Post ceremony at the Australian War Memorial that a group of students attended as guests of our Local RSL Sub-Branch and the Ex-Servos Club. The moving presentation was a fitting start for the Spirit of ANZAC Awards and we are very proud of Eleanor Drury who was awarded ‘The Spirit of ANZAC’ Youth Award. This very prestigious award is recognition of her incredible community achievements across so many areas. Her devotion to her peers, her sport and her community truly depicts the Spirit of ANZAC. A highly well-deserved award. Very proud of you Eleanor. Congratulations!
