Poetry in Action

At the end of Term 1 a performance team from Poetry in Action visited Ulladulla High School. They performed two shows, one to Year 7 and one to Year 8.  The kids really enjoyed the experience and wouldn't let the performers go at the end (especially Year 7) asking for selfies and autographs! It was a wonderful opportunity to see live theatre.

The students were also invited to enter the Poetry in Action competition, where each month winners will:

*Have their poem included in a Poetry In Action touring show

*Have their poem filmed and performed by the troupe and

  uploaded online.

*Receive $500 cash prize.

*In addition, the poem that places second will be awarded $250

  and the third place will receive $100.
