The ‘Cadence of the Day’ from Week 3 Term 3

SRC Research team

All parents and students received information on the evaluation of the new learning structure, along with the decisions made based on the comprehensive data collection by students and teachers.
The details are on our website along with links to all the data.
I encourage all parents to take time to review the data, particularly the SRC Research, it is authentic work produced by our students which we are very proud of. The research revealed that the four sessions with the three breaks provided a sense of time and calm for both students and teachers. This was verified wholeheartedly across the surveys, vignettes, faculty reflections, SRC research and executive insights, that the changed structure was an opportunity to reset before each class and this made the learning session more valuable in most responses. Barriers were identified, including length of breaks and some hiccups with technology. The school will continue to evaluate and evolve in response to the students experience.
