Year 9 Students Embark on an Exciting Educational Trip to Canberra A Day of Culture and Learning at the Canberra Theatre Centre.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The trip began with an early morning bus ride, filled with the hum of conversation and laughter, setting the tone for the day's adventures. For many, this was their first time experiencing a live theatre performance. The excitement grew as they made their way inside the impressive Canberra Theatre Centre, ready to immerse themselves in the world of Shakespeare. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a timeless play that has captivated audiences for centuries with its enchanting mix of romance, comedy, and magical elements. The students watched in awe as the talented actors brought the characters to life with vibrant costumes, expressive performances, and intricate staging and lighting. The performance provided an excellent opportunity for the students to see Shakespeare's work beyond the normal classroom experience.
