Successful NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company – Training Program

Jordan Magi in Year 11 has secured a place in the 2024 NSW Public Schools Aboriginal Dance Company – Training Program. This program is one of The Arts Unit’s specialist programs. It is a highly motivational, elite program that will build skills, knowledge and cultural awareness. Jordan will have the opportunity to work closely with choreographers from the internationally renowned Bangarra Dance Theatre to complete a three-day training program to build her knowledge, skills and understanding of contemporary indigenous dance. Opportunities like this provide our students the opportunities to build their experience, move out of their comfort zone and truly fulfil their potential. Big congratulations to Jordan for her willingness and enthusiasm always wanting to learn and improve her skills, understanding and knowledge in Dance, of course as we know, experiences like this, open pathways, less travelled but ultimately lead to incredible growth. #outstanding #courage #alwayslearning.
