Tuesday 21st May, eight students from UHS competed in the Open teams female and male Shoalhaven Zone Tennis tournament at Bomaderry. Our male team consisted of Kolt Pinches (11), Lucas McDonald (12), Harry Fairs (12) & Taj Thelander (12). The boys won against Nowra High School but were unfortunately defeated against Kiama High School and therefore will not be progressing on to Regionals. Our female team consisted of Anne Malligan (7), Tiahna Pinches (12), Keitara Matthews (12) & Emily Upsall (12). The girls were more fortunate and won both rounds against Kiama and Bomaderry High Schools and will therefore be progressing to Regionals. This is a fantastic achievement. Congratulations to both the Female and Male tennis teams on a great day of tennis. Thank you to the parents who attended and assisted with transportation on the day.
