Students travelled to Ison Park on Wednesday 17 May for the Under 15 Bill Turner Cup. Both teams started well, winning their first games. Unfortunately, the boys team were defeated by Nowra HS in the second round, but the girls went on to win the grand final against the 2022 winners, Shoalhaven High School. The girls team was crowned 2023 winners of the Shoalhaven Bill Turner Trophy and will progress to the next round against St Marys High School in the coming weeks.
Congratulations to all students involved. They are to be commended for their teamwork and the high-quality football seen on the pitch! Thank you to Mr Ommundsen and Miss Rothquel for coaching the teams, and for any parents who assisted with transport on the day.
