On a day that could not have had more blue sky and a blissful autumn feel to it, 8 BLUE set off on our second round of Outdoor Ed excursions for Year 8 from Lake Tabourie to Bawley Point. Yes, that's right we get to walk the most pristine bit of coastline, navigating rocky headlands, timing the tides, getting wet feet, crossing waterways with our packs held high, spotting whales, playing footy in the sand, body surfing the waves, eating lunch in the sun, admiring big gum trees at Meroo Head, rolling down grassy hills and admiring the most stunning 180 degree coastal views all day. Our day could not have been packed with more fun learning, team building and cup filling wellbeing time if we tried. So, if you are lucky enough to be in Year 8 this year, make sure you hand in your permission note asap as you do not want to miss out on a day like this with your class. Thanks of course to Ice and Ms Kaushal for their support on the day. 8 BLUE you were terrific. Cheers, Mrs Mergel
