On Sunday the 19th of November, five members of our Year 10 ISTEM class made their way up to Wollongong TAFE library where they competed in the First Tech Challenge (FTC) regional competition. Our team competed against 17 other teams and did so with GRACIOUS PROFESSIONALISM. Our team The Ulladulla Ducklings came 4th in the qualifying matches and became one of the Alliance Captains for the semi-finals. They also were successful in receiving the Connect Award which highlights teams that actively help the community understand FIRST, and recognising that engaging their local STEM community plays an essential part in their success. Our team now gets to go and compete at the National competition at Macquarie University in early December. We wish them much luck, and hope that they can secure another victory for the school!
