September is childhood cancer awareness month. Lilly-Rose Brook and Lochlan Davies are participating in the Big Walk for Little Kids facing cancer. A fundraiser by Camp Quality. Lilly-Rose is a cancer survivor and was supported by Camp Quality herself and has decided to give back and help young children in need. Lilly-Rose and Lochlan have started a fundraiser with a goal of $1,500 and have committed to walk 200km between the two of them in the month of September.
Their journey commenced on the 1st of September and is ongoing until the 30th, when hopefully they have completed their goals. Lilly-Rose is tributing this walk to her mother, who she lost to cancer in 2011 and Chelsea, a young girl who she shared a room with while they both battled cancer and unfortunately Chelsea grew her wings. Lilly-Rose and Lochlan have asked for the community to support them along their journey.
