Student Led Conference Feedback

Student Led Conference

We had a great turnout for the Student Led Conferences last week of Term 4 2019, especially given the fire situation. It was a highly worthwhile experience and we have already started planning for 2020. Parents' feedback is below:

Student Led Conference

“Would be great to see this sort of thing happening more regularly. Thank you!”

“Great to encourage children to talk about their schoolwork and be realistic about it. Great to be involved more and have more information as I have found that since starting high school I feel a bit less ‘involved’ with what the students are up to”

“Great initiative having student led conversation to reflect on their learning journey”

“I really appreciate the opportunity to view Harry’s work in a casual setting. It has shown that he is proud of his work and excited about learning (as we had our doubts!) This is a very beneficial process for students and parents. I would be even happy to come along ½ way through the year. Thank you for everything”

“Thank you, love the idea and reality of more home/school connections – raising these people is a collaborative effort and parents need to step up too! You guys do an amazing job with such a crowded curriculum and such a diversity of learners”

“Really good to know what they are doing at school. They normally say they do ‘nothing’ so it’s great”

“We think it’s a great idea, being able to come in and go through the school work. Thanks for having us”
