Ulladulla High School, for the third year running, has students who have been selected for State Volleyball (SVNSW).

This year we had a record 8 players trial for NSW of which 6 were chosen for the training squad. Last weekend was the final round of 6 weeks of trials for the travelling squad. Four UHS players successfully gained positions, with the other students gaining shadow positions. A big congratulations to: Holly Pullinger, selected for the U17 team, her third season with SVNSW; Tom Smith, U17 and also his third year; Darcy Kneeshaw selected for the U16 team (her second year) and Manny Kneeshaw, U15 team in her first year.  We would also like to congratulate Hannah Webb and Rachael Heron who gained shadow positions.

The state games will be in Canberra this year during a week of the spring holidays. All players train at Homebush in Sydney every weekend. Fancy playing for the state.

Come to training on Thursdays in the MPC at 3pm. We are lucky to have three coaches, including Paul Smith, an ex-Olympic beach volleyball coach—no wonder we do so well
