The Power of Habit – Set your compass with clear learning goals
08 Feb 2019
Last week was a new start, a time to build new habits and set each student’s vision for themselves. The first step is to make some clear goals that will set the direction for the year. Write them in your diary, make them SMART. SMART is an acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. Therefore, a SMART goal incorporates all of these criteria to help focus your efforts and increase the chances of achieving that goal. A clear sense of purpose enables you to focus on what matters most, take courageous risks & persevere. 2019… #YES. Let’s make it a meaningful, purposeful year that is full of accomplishments. If you need help in setting your goals, join our ‘Skills for Success’ program that is run at lunchtimes, before and after school. Exact times will be available on our website. Get your friends together and come along.
