On Thursday 1st March the whole of Year 7 went to Burrill Lake Rock Shelter, The Lions Park and Dolphin Point. During the day, everyone participated in a range of fun, informative activities and games to learn more about Australia's ancient past and indigenous culture.
The kids had a talk from an Aboriginal Ranger on bush tucker, medicine and cultural practices, were shown how to make fish hooks using shells & traditional methods and explored the Burrill Rock Shelter, where evidence proves Aboriginal people have been using the site for over 20,000 years!
