Last week, we proudly announced our student leaders for the 2025/26 academic year. As I’ve said many times, the young people in our school community are truly remarkable—and our new leadership team is no exception. Congratulations to our School Captains, Lachlan Barry and Annie-Maree Martin, and Vice Captains, Thomas Cowled and Madison Hughes, who will take on leading roles in the year ahead. We also applaud our Secretary, Claire Donnelly. Joining them are our new Prefects: Anthony Campisi, Lily Todd, Eden Sakora, Blayne Morley, and Christian Ireland. A warm welcome to our Senior SRC members: Tahlia Gorter, Hayley Grabia, Indiana Stanton, Chloe Hamilton, Hayley Barbaric, Sarang O’Neill, Sophie Minos, Adanaya Ekeson, Brodie Tebbutt, Sienna Whiteman, Aliyah Healey, and Maya Jarman. Congratulations also to the students in Years 7 to 10 elected by their peers to represent their year groups on the SRC/SEC. These respected roles are vital for ensuring student voice within our school. We encourage everyone to engage with their representatives and share ideas. Our Investiture Assembly last Thursday marked the formal handover of leadership and celebrated student voice and civic responsibility. Lachlan and Annie-Maree officially stepped into their roles, ready to lead with vision and integrity into the 2026 school year. Our new leaders now begin the important work of building communication strategies and shaping the SRC’s agenda. It’s a privilege to work alongside such dedicated and compassionate students to create positive change across our school community.
