  • two creative learning centres
  • eight support classes
  • an off-site tutorial centre
  • a support teacher for students with hearing and vision impairment
  • School Learning Support Officers.

Our classes

  • The support classes cater to students with diagnosed intellectual disabilities.
  • The creative learning centres assist students with diagnosed behavioural and/or emotional issues.
  • The tutorial centre is an off-site resource for mainstream students who are experiencing short term difficulties with behaviour, attendance and/or learning issues.

School Learning Support Officers

  • Students with special needs involved in support classes, mainstream classes and work experience are supported by a team of eight full time learning support officers.

Individual education plans (IEP'S)

  • All students with special education needs integrate into mainstream subjects where possible and have access to a full school curriculum offers.
  • Each student's Individual education plan is developed in conjunction with parents and carers in order to facilitate academic, sporting and social success.

Vocational skills and the school to work transition

  • A high priority is placed on developing vocational skills and creating partnerships with external organisations so that our students successfully transition from school into work or further education.
  • Students are encouraged to participate in school based work experiences in Year 7 and 8 and community based work experiences from year 9.
  • School based enterprise activities, such as the Spotted Frog Café and Trev's Greek Garden provide another opportunity to develop additional employment related skills.
