Last week four students travelled all the way to Mount Buller in Victoria to represent Ulladulla High at The Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships. They raced against the best snowsports athletes from public and private schools all around Australia. In the Boys Year 9 and 10 Division, Earl Powell and Rory Knight-Derkowski ended up a fantastic 11th overall as a team. Individually Shannon Meredith achieved a very impressive 13th in Boarder Cross and 14th in Giant Slalom. Zoe Garrett also excelled with a gold medal in the GS Multiclass event. We should be very proud of this amazing achievement for Ulladulla High School. Thanks again to Mr Paul Meredith for his help organising this year’s team entries. If you are a keen snowboarder or skier and would like to compete for your school, join us next year!
