It is always absolutely thrilling to see our students step into the world having achieved extraordinary academic results, built long lasting friendships, and acquired highly developed dispositions of learning that will serve them well beyond their school life. Last week, our Year 12 student Ethan Sigler was presented with the Defence Force ADFA Education Award, selected from over 300 high achieving applicants across Australia. To add a special layer, Ethan has already been offered a place in the Bachelor of Engineering Course at UNSW ADFA Campus based on his exceptional school results and responses to the intensive recruiting process. We were privileged to have Lieutenant Melanie Pring from Defence Force Recruiting attend the Year 12 meeting last Wednesday to present Ethan with his ADFA Education scholarship which included a Microsoft Surface Computer to support the completion of his University degree. Congratulations also to our Year 12 Headstart on completion of the Dusty Bill program. The Dusty Bill program is based around career development with practical, vocational skills such as welding, gardening, solar energy and problem solving, making our students employable young adults. #outstanding #worldclass
