Year 11 students over the past two weeks have had an opportunity to be involved in an intensive driver education program that is only run at Ulladulla High School.
Eighty students attended the course and were exposed to many aspects associated with driving a car. These included attending demonstrations by the SES, Fire, Ambulance and Police Services and mechanics. They also listened to guest speakers who spoke about first hand experiences of the affects that car accidents have not only on the driver, but those associated with them.
The students were also fortunate to be able to drive two cars, kindly donated for the course, by Alan May Holden. They were shown how to control a vehicle under various conditions. Year 11 would like to thank the many volunteers who spent many hours organising and presenting during the course. A VERY VALUABLE COURSE THAT ALL STUDENTS SHOULD ATTEND IN THE FUTURE.
