This curriculum framework course is accredited for the HSC and provides students with the opportunity to obtain nationally recognised vocational qualifications for employment in the entertainment industry. This is known as dual accreditation. Students will be able to gain skills in communication, safe work practices, working with others, staging and operating audio, lighting and vision systems. This qualification is designed to reflect the role of individuals who work in technical production teams, who perform a range of skilled tasks using discretion and judgement, and who have the ability to select, adapt and transfer skills to different situations within the entertainment industry.
