Student Wellbeing
At Ulladulla High School, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs support with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, our team is here to help them thrive at school and in everyday life.
Our Student Wellbeing Hub is a place for students and families to explore a wide range of wellbeing information. You can use it to discover new resources, learn something helpful, find inspiration or simply check out what’s available to support young people.
How we support student wellbeing
Supporting each student’s overall wellbeing is part of everyday life at Ulladulla High School. We do this through:
- Welcoming and inclusive classrooms where teachers create safe, supportive learning environments.
- Access to school counsellors, school psychologists and specialist wellbeing staff who provide guidance, intervention and support.
- Programs that promote health, social skills, attendance and positive behaviour, helping students feel confident and connected.
- Transition support for students who are new to the school or moving into a new year group.
- Clear expectations for behaviour and respectful relationships, so everyone feels valued and understood.
- Strong partnerships with families and external providers, with staff who take the time to get to know each student.
- Health care planning for students with medical or support needs.
- Open and ongoing communication to ensure wellbeing needs are identified and supported early.
