2024 was a year, that the UHS Anzac tradition was not going to be forgotten, and what a special one. It all began with a small idea, by Mr. Barry and the HSIE faculty, ‘what do you think if we have a Navy Helicopter land on our oval for the start of our Anzac Assembly,’ and that was that!

Wow, again the ideas were materialised, and our fantastic team were ready to put into action all these top ideas.  From the extraordinary ceremony, the NAVY helicopter, to the memorial for former Ex-servicemen Paul Warren and the announcement of the Junior and Senior Spirit of Anzac Award Andrew and Emily for their dedication to their studies, school and community, epitomising the Anzac spirit. Congratulations to them both. Along with the Kokoda Leadership scholarships, who in September will complete the Kokoda Trek. A fabulous end to a fantastic term.  #outstanding #Community
